My daughter was very happy when she got the news that our Church admin has decided to buy a new keyboard for the music team. Well i understand her feelings because as a keyboardist you will feel better if the instrument you’re using is in good condition.  You will be able to give your best performance especially if you’re aiming for excellence when you’re serving the King of Kings.  Last week i noticed they bought a new akai guitar, so i’m glad they have also decided to buy a new keyboard.

Part of being fit and healthy is keeping our environment clean aside from eating healthy foods and doing regular exercises. So we always teach our children to always keep our house and surroundings clean.

In line with this, yesterday we taught our kids how to recycle kitchen and garden wastes by making compost. Composting is an inexpensive, natural process to make our kitchen and garden waste into a valuable and nutrient rich food for our garden. It’s easy to make and use garden compost. All you need are compost bins, soil, manure or any nitrogen source when making compost.

Levis has expanded their territory from denims now they also have accessories like shoes, bag, caps, flip-flops, etc.

Speaking of shoes, they launched a Design-A-Shoe contest entitled “Now Is Our Time” last month. To join the contest just buy a pair of Levi’s shoes (either Venice, VeniceB or Mirto) at Levi’s store, SM Men Shoes Department Store, or Specialty Shoe Store then download the official entry form online.

Custom-design your shoes and submit the requirements (photos of your shoe designs, completed entry form, receipt as proof of purchase) on the participating Levi’s stores (Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Galleria, SM Megamall, Festival Mall, Greenbelt 5, and Trinoma on or before May 19, 2012.The top 10 chosen designs will be displayed in stores and its designers will move on and compete on the on-the-spot final showdown wherein they will create another design using their own art tools.

First Prize:P20,000 cash + Canon S100 + P5,000 Levi’s GC

Second Prize:P10,000 cash + Canon S100 + P5,000 Levi’s GC
