Gardening for fitness and health

My parents have a small garden in their house. They used to place flowering plants in their garden but later on they changed it to fruit bearing trees. Now they have different kinds of fruit tress wherein some of them already bear fruits. I’m planning to give them new sets of gardening tools as a wedding gift in their wedding anniversary next month. I want to encourage them to continue with their gardening activity as i see to be beneficial to both of them.

Gardening is a light exercise activity which is good for older people. Gardening can help strengthen the muscles and bones as well as burn calories, all while doing something that you love. This physical activity helps in maintaining both their physical and mental health.
