My daughter wants to take up Information Technology when she goes to College next year. However I heard from a television program that most of the Information Technology or IT graduates are jobless or having a hard time to land a job. The number of graduates outnumbered the number of tech jobs or IT related jobs available here in our country so I’m having second thoughts if I will support my daughter in her desire to study Information Technology.
But she’s really good in computer and I can see that she will excel in programming and web designing. Anyway, inspite of the negative feedback i know it is better if I will let my daughter choose IT if she really like it. The job competition may be stiff but the success of an individual lies in his/her own hands. With regards to my daughter I believe in her capability to succeed.
