Many of us have become more and more motivated to gain muscle fast. For some, it’s because of a sport like baseball or football they want to try out for or get in more shape for. Others perhaps it’s to be able to stand up for themselves when they need to. Or because summer is just around the corner and they want to look good for the beach.
The reason for building muscle isn’t as important as what you are doing to build muscle.
You can easily fall into an absolutely worthless routine, where you do not see any results even though you’ve been working out at the gym or at home for weeks and weeks, possibly even months. Like everyone else, you do not want to spend so many hours performing exercises, working up a sweat just to see zero results.
This is a major problem for many. They spend so much time trying to gain muscle fast, but fail. Many fail because they are doing it wrong. The worst part is that they do not realize they are doing it wrong.
If you thinking building muscle is just about lifting a load of weights repeatedly, than you’re wrong. Just doing this you will not get significant results.
In order to get a ripped and sculpted body, you must follow a workout routine. A proper, well planned workout routine is essential to gaining muscle. You must have a variety of exercises to perform. You never want to repeat the same exercise over and over again. If you do this, your muscle will not work as hard as they should, causing your muscles to hardly grow.
A well planned meal plan is also essential because if you do not eat properly, all the time you spend working out at the gym or at home, will become completely worthless because you will not get the proper nutrients you need for your muscles to grow. Don’t eat anything with a high amount of sugar or fat. Although, some fat is essential, you do not want to consume too much. It’s best to stick with the 40-40-20 rule. This rule is where you eat 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat of the calories you consume each day.
By eating smaller meals each day, 6 meals is best, you can help increase your metabolism to help burn fat and not gain fat. It’s recommended to eat a meal every two and a half to three hours throughout the day. This will also help keep you from snacking, which is a major problem for many. If you still cannot help from snacking between meals, chew a piece of gum.
