So Want Skinny Abs? Get the “Skinny” on Getting Skinny Abs!

Doesn’t it stink when you see people on the TV or magazines with skinny abs?  I want to let you in a little secret…they didn’t get those abs on accident!  It takes work to get skinny abs like that.  The real trick however is what you need to do to get abs like that!

Here are some of the basic things that you need to do to get the rock hard abs you have always wanted –

  • Cardio

With ANY exercise regiment, you need to get get your heart pumping.  Whenever your heart rate increase, you can expect to burning more calories.  This is a huge part of awesome abs.

  • Diet

You cannot exactly think you are going to have washboard abs if you are eating fast food everyday right?  The better you eat, the most likely you are going to trim that waistline and keep it trim.  Remember, you can’t hide those abs under a large layer of fat!

  • Exercise Routine

You shouldn’t only focus on just your abs.  Think about the last time you went to the gym and what you did and what that affect it had on your abs.  When I bench press, my abs tighten.  My breathing becomes heavier.  What do you think that does for your abs?  You are getting a small ab workout and you don’t even know it!   Not to mention, you want the rest of your body to be proportioned to your newly sculpted skinny abs!

The point that I am trying to make is that there isn’t a magic pill that you can take that will give you the skinny abs you want.  It takes work and you are only going to get what you put into it.  If done right however, you will find the results AMAZING!

There are A LOT of misconceptions about how to get the skinny abs you want. Some folks believe that you need to do 500 crunches a day while others believe that you need to run eight miles a morning. Truth be told, both of these are inaccurate.
